Dohring is the perfect Brainiac 5 but its a shame that DC comics will never make that movie. I never understood why DC was determined to make his younger and younger over the years.

My main show of interest in Doctor Who and recently i've been aquainting myself with the classic series. A series that gets a lot of critisism for its treatment of female characters. I have come to discover that although some claims against characters in the show are justified they are a lot stronger than was first made out. It made me think of characters in my two favourite shows- 'New' Doctor Who and 'smallville' and how i see them. I am coming from the perspective of a woman in her best years in the 21st century so how do these women reflect me? In the course of this rant (because the term essay will probably turn out to be misleading) i will try and pinpoint the positives and negatives of the female in these shows.
